PROJECTS:
(i) "Molecular characterization of Indian maize landraces and allele mining for agronomically important traits" (1 SRF Post)
(ii) "Developing micronutrient-enriched maize through molecular breeding" (2 SRF Posts)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
M.Sc. in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant Molecular Biology/Botany
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Research experience in germplasm characterization and molecular-marker assisted breeding, besides knowledge of computer applications.

Duration of Project : 2 Years
Qualification : M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ PB&G/ Plant Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Life Science (Plant)
The interview of eligible candidates for the above posts will be held on 12.08.2008 at 9.30 AM in the Chamber of the Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi – 110 012.
The candidates will have to bring without fail a copy of the bio-data, original certificates, attested photocopies of each of the certificates and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph.
No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
