JRF Position (1 Post)

Project "Technology development for production of transgenics resistant to parasitic nematodes of cereals in rain fed agriculture"

Emoluments (Fixed) PM Rs. 12000/- + 30% HRA

Essential qualification

M. Sc. in Nematology / Botany / Zoology / Plant Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences/ Microbiology / Biotechnology.

Desirable qualifications:

Experience in general molecular biology and tissue culture techniques.

Age limit: Maximum age 35 years (age relaxation of five years for SC/ ST & women and three years for OBC candidates)

The above post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis for a period upto 28th August 2009. The candidates shall not claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the respective project. The interview of eligible candidates for the above post will be held on 5.11.2008 at 10. 00 AM in the Chamber of the Head (Room No. 306), Division of Nematology, IARI, New Delhi – 110 012. The candidates will have to bring without fail a copy of the bio-data, original certificates, attested photocopies of each of the certificates and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph.
