ADMISSION NOTIFICATION FOR POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN BIOINFORMATICS 2011 -2012
Applications are invited for the Post Graduate programme in Bioinformatics offered in the Department of Bioinformatics, Alagappa University, Karaikudi for the academic year 2011 - 2012.
APPLICATION COST
Rs. 300/-(Rs. 150/- for SC/ST on submission of a copy of Community certificate). Application and prospectus can be obtained from the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi – 630003 on requisition along with a crossed Bank Demand Draft (for the amount mentioned against the Programme) drawn in favour of the Registrar, Alagappa University payable at Karaikudi by post or in person. Applications can also be downloaded from the website. Downloaded-filled in applications should be accompanied by a DD for the specified amount of application cost as mentioned above. Candidates appearing for the Final Year/ Semester Examination can also apply.

ELIGIBILITY
B.Sc (Botany /Zoology /Bio-chemistry /Microbiology /Biotechnolog /Bioinformatics /Veterinary /Fisheries /Pharmacy /Maths /Chemistry /Physics /Computer Science /Information Technology /BE /B-Tech or equivalent Degree with at least 50% of marks in major and allied subject both in theory & Practical in all 3 years).
