DST sponsored research scheme Isolation and characterization of flavonoids from Eugenia jambolana and their use for the cure and management of diabetes and obesity under Dr. Partha Roy, P.I & Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, for a period up to three years:
Junior Research Fellow (Two)
Fellowship : Rs. 16,000/- PM for first two years and Rs. 18,000/- PM third year (for candidates having Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Basic Sciences and NET qualified OR Graduate Degree in Professional courses and GATE or equivalent qualification) OR Rs. 12,000/- PM for first two years and Rs. 14,000/- PM third year (for candidates having Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Basic Sciences and NET qualified for lecturership)
Qualification
M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Science/ M.Pharmai M.VSc.! M.Tech (Biotechnology)/ M.E. (Biotechnology)
Candidates should be qualified UGC-CSIR-JRF/ Lectureship or GATE.
Age Limit 28 Years, relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/ tribes and three years in the case of OBC; woman and physically handicapped candidates as per rules.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending this interview. All terms and conditions are as per rules of IIT Roorkee and DST.
