Applications are invited for one temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on contractual basis at the fixed emoluments of Rs. 16000 + HRA per month in a Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi sponsored project entitled “Nitric oxide as a signaling agent in plant pathogen interaction” sanctioned up to 2014 (Three years). The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Qualifications: The candidates should be M.Sc.(Ag.) Plant Physiology/M.Sc. in Botany/Biotechnology/Plant Biotechnology/Microbiology and Life Sciences with 55% marks and NET/GATE, and age not exceeding 28 years. A relaxation of 5 years of upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/Physically handicapped/female candidates. Candidates with experience of research in the area of the project or related field will be preferred. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
