Himalayan Forest Research Institute, Conifer Campus, Panthaghati, Shimla invites applications alongwith bio-data and the related attested documents for filling up of the temporary positions under the projects as per details below by 05.00 P.M. of 03.07.2012. Interviews for these position will be held on 10.07.2012 from 10.00 AM onwards at the Institute.

1. "Cumulative Environment Impact Assessment Studies (CEIAS) for Sutlej Basin in H.P."
i) (Sr. Project Fellow= 2 Nos.) (ii) Junior Project Fellow= 1 No.
(iii) Data Entry Operator= 1 No. (iv) Field Assistant = 1 No.

2. "Biology and Management of Insect pests of seeds of Juniperous polycarpos C.Koch and evaluating the insect-pests resistance performance in the nursery. ( Field Assistant = 1 No.)

3. "Status, survey and mapping of Ashtvargha group of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) in Himachal Pradesh" (Project Assistant = 2 Nos.)
4. " Determination of nursery and initial plantation requirements of Diploknema butyracea (Roxb.)H.J. Lam and Myrica esculenta Such.Ham. under mid-hill conditions of Himachal Himalayas."

5. Project "Identification of distinct traits for DUS for Conifers"

6. "Taxonomy and molecular analysis (through RAPD-PCF) of moths (Lepidoptera) of Cold Deserts (Spiti and Leh) ( Project Assistant = I No.)
