UNIVERSITY OF CALCUTTA

Interested candidates are requested to apply for the post of Research Fellows (2 positions) (fellowship as per DBT norms) for the DBT-sponsored project entitled “Evaluating the gene expression profile of breast cancer stem cells which are resistant to conventional chemotherapeutic drugs” under the supervision of Dr. Urmi Chatterji and Prof. Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay, Departments of Zoology and Biotechnology, University of Calcutta. Duration of the project is 3 years.

Qualifications: Candidates should have a M.Sc. degree in any branch of Life Science. Preference will be given to the candidates with NET. NET (lectureship) / GATE qualified candidates may also apply.

Fellowship:

For NET qualified candidates Rs. 16,000/- + admissible allowances in the slab of Rs. 16,000-16,000-18,000.

NET (lectureship) / GATE qualified candidates are eligible to get the fellowship @ Rs. 12,000/- (in the slab of Rs. 12,000-12,000-14,000) + admissible allowances as per sanction of the funding agency & also as per norms of C.U.
