About the Workshop In all its activities dedicated to technology innovation, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) consciously builds in comprehensive dimensions that are environment-friendly, natural resource conserving and peopleoriented.

It is with such vision, perseverance and ingenuity that TERI’s team has developed a range of technologies in different disciplines and areas of scientific endeavour. This training workshop, takes the initiative of filling up the existing gap through offering advanced level training and creating awareness about for various sustainable technologies (biofertilizer, biopesticides, green and sustainable building, energy audit, resource and waste management, renewable and decentralized solutions, climate change, etc.). Those technologies are included, which are proven for their effectiveness and economic viability. Hence, these are not mere laboratory
solutions, but practical innovations that underline the sustainable use of natural resources.

Themes

The focus will be on the following themes pertaining to

• Biofertilizers and biopesticides • Renewable and decentralized energy solutions
• Biotechnology for green agriculture • Climate change
• Sustainable habitat • Resource management
• Waste management • Energy audit

Who can apply: Scientists working in the Departments/Ministries of Central and State Governments, PSUs, Government Research Institutes and Central and State Universities.
