Applications are invited for One position of Research Assistant to work on the following Wellcome Trust DBT Funded project at TIFR-NCRA Campus, Pune : “Identification of a regulatory gene network essential for the maintenance of the epidermal architecture and integrity”.

QUALIFICATIONS : M.Sc./M.Tech. (Zoology, Life Science, Biotechnology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology) with minimum 60% marks.

JOB REQUIREMENT : Research work involves (a) Genetic manipulation in zebrafish and microinjections (b) Immunohistology and immunofluorescence. (c) DNA/RNA isolation, PCR and cloning. (d) Maintenance of zebrafish mutant lines.

Appointment is temporary as Research Assistant for one year, extendable for 2 year/s depending upon performance.

Monthly Honorarium : 16000 + HRA as admissible
