A walk-in-interview for Sr. Research Fellow will be held on 10th October, 2014 at 10.30 A.M. at this Directorate.
1. ICAR-NPTC: Development of transgenic maize resistant against stem borers.

Desirable: Experience in maize transformation and transgenic event Characterization.
1) Terms and conditions: The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis upto 31st March 2015, which may be further extended on annual basis after satisfactory performance of the incumbent till termination of the project. There is no provision of re-engagement after termination of the project. The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the fellowship is co-terminus with the project.
2) Age limit: 35 years as on the closing date of the application. Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST & women candidates and 3 years of OBC candidates will be given as per ICAR rules.
3) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4) The candidates are required to submit the application in the attached format at the time of interview along with one passport size photograph pasted on it, self attested copies of certificates for age, and qualifications, reprints of publications and ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer. Candidates have to bring all original documents at the time of interview.
