Applications along with CV and list of publications re invited for the following purely temporary positions in research projects sanctioned to Prof. Pratima Ray, Faculty of Science.

A) Project Title: “National Hospital Based Rotavirus Surveillance Network.” (Funding agency- ICMR)

1) Scientist-B ( Non-medical) (1)

Essential qualification: First class master’s degree in Life Sciences with Ph.D. in Microbiology/Medical Virology/Biotechnology from a recognized University/Institute with research experience in the field of Medical Virology.

Desirable: Candidate having Post-doctoral experience and publications in molecular virology and clinical research will be given preference.

Age Limit: Upto 45 years

Salary: As per ICMR guidelines and allowances as admissible.

B) Project Title: “Human Immunity to Chikungunya Virus.” (Funding agency-DBT)

1) Research Associate (1)

Essential qualification: PhD degree (awarded) in Biotechnology/Immunology/ Molecular Virology from reputed Institute/university.

Desirable: Post PhD research experience in Immunology/Molecular Virology and good publication record.

Age Limit: Up to 35 years

Salary: As per DBT guideline and allowances as admissible.

2) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (1)

Essential qualification: M.sc. degree holder in Life Science/B.E.(Biotechnology) who has qualified NET/GATE examination.

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates with research experience.

Age Limit: up to 35 years

Salary: As per DBT guideline and allowances as admissible.
