Applications are invited in plain paper along with detailed resume and all testimonials duly attested for one post of Research Associate (RA) or Senior Research Fellow (SRF) or Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi sponsored research scheme entitled “Seed Biology and Germplasm Evaluation of Cinamomum verum bertch & Presl, and MAPs extension activities in Mizoram, India” at department of Horticulture, Aromatic and Medicinal Plants, Mizoram University, Aizawl- 796 004 for a period of 3 years. Candidates may also apply through e-mail and last date of receiving application is 30th September, 2014.
For Research Associate (RA)
Fellowship @ Rs 22000/- + HRA (CSIR norms)
Qualification: Ph.D. in Horticulture/ Agriculture/Botany/ Biotechnology
For Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Fellowship @ Rs 14000/- + HRA (CSIR norms)
Qualification: M.Sc. in Horticulture/Agriculture/Botany/Biotechnology with at least 55% marks and two years post M.Sc. experience as evidence from published papers in referred journals.
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Fellowship @ Rs 12000/- + HRA for 2 years and Rs 14000/- + HRA for final year as SRF (CSIR norms)
Qualification: M.Sc. in Horticulture/ Agriculture/Botany/ Biotechnology with at least 55% marks and passed NET/GATE exam.
Upper age limit for RA: 35 years, SRF 32 years and JRF 28 years with relaxable upto 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST, PH and 3 years for OBC candidates. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
No TA/DA will be provided for candidates for appearing for the interview.
