CALL FOR TEMPORARY JRF POSITION IN MOLECULAR CANCER THERAPEUTICS RESEARCH PROJECT

Applications are invited for a temporary Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work in a Department of Biotechnology (DBT) funded Molecular Cell Biology Therapeutics research project entitled,“Optimization and identification of cellular targets of potential cancer therapeutic drug candidates by nanoparticle mediated capture assays”, to work under the guidance of Dr.G.Kumaresan, Principal Investigator, Cancer Genetics Laboratory, Dept. of Genetics, School of Biological Sciences, Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU).

Essential Qualifications for JRF: First class M.Sc., in any branch of life sciences (Biochemistry, Nanotechnology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology) with core hands-on experience for a minimum of 6 months in Molecular Cell Biology / Nanotechnology / Characterization of Nanomaterial projects. Above stated experience during M.Sc., dissertation also would be considered. Applicants with none of these experiences will not be considered. Candidates having thirst for an ambitious research career in Molecular Therapeutics are encouraged to apply.

Duration: Until the project period of March, 2016 and as per DBT norms.

Fellowship: JRF - As per DBT norms
