Applications are invited for the award of UGC-BSR (5) Research Fellowships in Sciences, BioSciences, Agricultural Sciences and Engineering Sciences for the year 2013-2014 for pursuing Ph.D. degree in the Department of Biophysics as per the following terms and conditions.
Fellowship:
Rs. 14,000/- pm plus HRA + Contingency Rs. 12,000/- per annum (for non
UGC/CSIR/GATE qualified candidates)
Rs. 16,000/- pm plus HRA + Contingency Rs. 12,000/- per annum (for
UGC/CSIR/GATE qualified candidates)
Duration: Initially for 1 year (extendable)
Eligibilities:
M.Sc. degree in Biophysics with at least 55% marks.
Qualified CSIR-UGC NET/GATE examination in life sciences
Or
Qualified Ph.D. Entrance test/ Enrolled in Ph.D.
Application with biodata and proof of qualifying examination should reach the office of the Chairperson, Department of Biophysics, Panjab University, Chandigarh on or before 19th December 2014 till 5 pm.
The date, time and venue of interview shall be communicated by the office of Chairperson
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
