IOB Ph.D. admissions 2015
Position Opportunities:
Ph.D. admissions in Cancer Biology (3 positions) at Institute of Bioinformatics (IOB), Bangalore, which integrates multi-disciplinary expertise on biomarker research. The program involves the application of state of the art technologies to investigate biomarkers for bladder cancer recurrence and progression. This includes: identifying novel biomarkers, study the molecular pathology and understanding clinical phenotypes.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
1) M.Sc. in Life Sciences
2) Candidates must have secured JRF funding from CSIR-UGC, DBT and BINC
Candidates with experience in cell culture, molecular biology and/or mass spectrometry are preferred. Selected JRFs will be involved in cell culture, molecular biology experiments, proteomics and cutting edge technologies including NextGen sequencing.
