Walk-in-Interview
Walk-in-interview will be conducted in the office of The Chairman, Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics on 31 July 2015 at 11:00 am to select one JRF (unreserved) in DAE-BRNS sponsored research project entitled ‘Detection of allele other than Sub-1 for submergence tolerance in mutant lines of rice using SSR molecular markers’ sanctioned to Dr Rajesh Kumar. The tenure of the appointment will be co-terminus, initially for two years.
Further extension will be given on satisfactory performance of the candidate. The duration of the project is three years.
The engagement will be purely on contractual and temporary basis.
The service of the engaged candidate will terminate automatically after expiry of the project or completion of period of engagement indicated in the offer letter whichever is earlier and the candidate will have no legal right, whatsoever for further absorption/re-engagement in the concerned project.
The selected candidate will be paid fellowship of Rs 16,000 per month for first two years.
The candidate must have master’s degree with at least 55% marks in plant breeding and genetics or M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. degree in Plant Biotechnology/Agri. Biotechnology/Biotechnology.
However, candidate having knowledge and working experience of Marker Assisted Selection will be preferred.
The candidate must bring all original documents along with a set of attested copies and a copy of latest bio-data.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
