Programme coverage 

Live demonstration of whole bacterial genome sequencing using the ILLUMINA MiSeq platform (12–13 October at V ClinBio Labs facility, SRU, Porur). 

Data analysis: Introduction to NGS, The Biology and Chemistry of NGS, NGS Technology and Platforms. Hands on practical in De novo Assembly & Alignment. NGS Tools and Databases. Whole Genome, Exome, Transcriptome, Metagenomics and ChIP-Seq Data Analysis (14–17 October at AU-KBC Research Center, MIT, Chromepet, Chennai).
