Notification for appointment of One Project Assistant in the DBT, New Delhi Sponsored Project
Title of the project The role and biology of miR-16 in the pathogenesis and resolution of lung fibrosis.
Tenure of the project 1 year (likely to be extended till the tenure of the project)
Project Assistant
Essential qualifications: M.Sc or M.Tech/M.Pharm degree in Life Sciences with previous laboratory experience. Desirables Basic animal cell culture techniques. Familiarity with molecular biology techniques including RNA and protein isolation and analysis. Handling experimental animals particularly mouse.
Working knowledge of computers and software as applied to laboratory research.
Emoluments A consolidated salary of Rs.12, 000/- per month will be paid for M.Sc. A consolidated salary of Rs.14, 000/- per month will be paid for M.Sc. plus two year’s experience or M.Tech/M.Pharm.
Applications are invited for the post of one Project Assistant to work in the project funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), New Delhi in the Department of Biotechnology, Anna University-BIT Campus, Tiruchirappalli- 620 024 on temporary basis.
Candidates recruited for Project Assistant can register for pursuing Ph.D programme in Anna University, Chennai.
