ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The technologic changes that have taken place during the past few years have lead the microbiological science to a new era. This conference plans to reflect on some of the recent advancements in the field of Microbiology. The impact of technological advancements in Microbiology and the future trends will be highlighted. Interest in molecular microbiology is gaining new impetus from the relative ease and rapidity with which such small genomes can be entirely sequenced. This development is beginning to have significant impact on all areas of prokaryote biology, from pathogens to extremophiles, and will fuel new developments, for example, in drugs, vaccines and industrial enzyme research. This conference will provide a multidisciplinary forum for the discussion of all aspects of microbiology: from cell biology and immunology to genetics and evolution, and ranges across virology, bacteriology, protozoology and mycology. The world is developing not only industrially but also technologically. Along with these developments the concern has also grown for an economy and environment particularly with the issues like global warming and depleting oil reserves. These issues are driving worldwide interest in exploring for renewable resources that can be used as feedstock for biofuel production. Hence as a need of an hour biofuel production will also be highlighted theme of this conference.
