WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

It is proposed to fill up following position as per details below purely on temporary basis under the time bound Project running in this Institute

Name of Project “Understanding the adaptation mechanisms of wild forage halophytes in the extreme saline-sodic Kachchh plains for enhancing feed resources”

Emoluments Rs. 24,000/- + HRA @10% (old)

Qualification (i) Essential:- Ph. D degree in Botany (specialization in Anatomy or Systematic)/ Plant Genetics OR Master’s Degree in Botany/Genetics with 1st class or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associate ship/Training/other engagement

(ii) Desirable:- Working experience in Plant Anatomy or Systematic supported with published research papers and good working knowledge of computer

Duration 2013 to 31.3.2016

Age limit Up to 35 years for Man Up to 40 years for Woman

The candidates fulfilling the qualification for the above position are invited to appear for a Walk in-Interview to be held at the office of CAZRI, Regional Research Station, Kukma, Bhuj. The candidate should bring the following documents alongwith bio-data on plain paper duly signed and pasted with a recent passport size photograph on it. (i) Original certificate of educational qualification and attested copies (ii) Two testimonials of Character from two responsible gazetted officers (iii) relevant publications (iv) a brief of research work carried during post-graduation (v) No objection certificate from the employer in case of employment elsewhere (vi) Experience certificate in original, if any. The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The service of the selected candidate will stand terminated automatically after the expiry of the project or completion of period mentioned in the offer of appointment, whichever is earlier. He/She will not have any right to claim for regularization or absorption whatsoever in regular vacancies of the Institute/ICAR. TA/DA will not be admissible for attending the interview.
