Applications are invited for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for a period of three years in DBT funded project entitled “Identification of biomarkers of oropharyngeal cancer prevalent in North-Eastern states of India by whole genome methylation and expression profiling” sanctioned to Dr. Srimoyee Ghosh as Principal Invigilator in the Department of Zoology, NEHU, Shillong.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Zoology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Life Sciences or related field with a good academic record is a prerequisite.
Preference will be given to NET qualified candidates.
Stipend: Rs. 16000 p.m + HRA
