Walk-in interview for Project Assistant opening in the project ‘Determining the whale shark habitat quality status along the coast of Gujarat based on plankton and benthos’

As part of the Wildlife Trust of India funded project ‘Determining the whale shark habitat quality status along the coast of Gujarat based on plankton and benthos’, a position of Project Assistant is available in the Integrative Taxonomy and Microbial Ecology Research Group, Department of Biological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata [IISERK]. The project broadly aims to determine the ecological attributes of Gujarat coastline that makes it an excellent habitat for whale shark based on analyses of biological variables such as plankton and benthos.

Candidates with M.Sc. in Marine Science/Zoology/Marine Biology having some exposure on taxonomy of planktonic and benthic organisms, in particular benthic fauna and willing to undertake rigorous field work activities can appear for the walk-in interview.
