WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Following post is to be filled up on purely temporary basis at National Institutes of Malaria Research, New Delhi under the project entitled “Estimation of Malaria Burden in India: a prospective National study to validate recently proposed methodologies of burden estimation in India.”
Name of Post : Consultant - Biostatistics (One)
Essential qualifications and Experience: Master’s Degree in Biostatistics/Statistics/Health Statistics/Population Studies. One year experience of working on Computer Applications for data management and statistical analysis using statistical software like SPSS, STATA etc.
Desirable: Ph.D. degree in the area of health research or any additional qualification related to the data management/computer Programming etc. or experience of handling/supervising large scale sample surveys, advance statistical analysis of data and writing project reports etc.
Job requirements:
i) To develop database for malaria surveillance and management of longitudinal data collected weekly/periodically from the study areas.
ii) To Develop a computer based information system for data flow, query, editing, regular monitoring and updating at central level.
iii) Training of project staffs on data flow and management at different study sites.
iv) Monthly/quarterly analysis of data to present the progress of study.
v) Data Analysis and assistance in preparing project report after completion of data collection of malaria surveillance.
Age: Below 45 years Emoluments: Rs.42,420/- per month (consolidated). No other allowances.
Duration : One Year
Place of duty : New Delhi
The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason. Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbant selected will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project. Benefit of provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. is not applicable. Age relaxation is for SC, ST & OBC candidates is as per Govt. rules. No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the walk-in-Interview. Candidates possessing the above qualifications may come for Interview at National Institutes of Malaria Research,Sector-8, Dwarka, New Delhi on 8-9-2015 at 11 AM Those appearing for walk-in-interview should bring with them (1) All certificates/ testimonials in original (2) attested copies of certificates (3) two photograph.
