Walk in Interview for selection of Junior Research Fellow/Project Assistant

A walk in Interview will be conducted on 17.9.2015 at 9 AM at the Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology, Kannur University, Thalassery Campus for the selection of a Junior Research Fellow and Project Assistant in a DBT funded research project for three years.

First class MSc in Biotechnology or Microbiology from a recognized institution with NET/GATE qualification (only for JRF) is essential for the posts.

Selected candidates for the post of JRF with NET/GATE qualification will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 25000 for the first two years and Rs 28,000 for the third year plus eligible HRA as per norms and the Project Assistant will get a monthly stipend of Rs 8000. In the absence of NET/GATE qualified candidates, others also will be considered.
