Short-term Training Course on Genomics and Metabolomics of Wild Medicinal Plants

16 November–4 December 2015

The Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute (JNTBGRI) is organizing a short-term training course on Genomics and Metabolomics of Wild Medicinal Plants from 16 November to 4 December 2015, funded by DBT, Govt of India, for mid career scientists/research scholars/teachers involved in UG/PG teaching and research in Life Sciences and Biotechnology. The course work comprises theory classes followed by practicals/hands on sessions in recent advancements in the field of plant genomics and metabolomics.

Selection of participants is limited to 20. There is no bench fee for the course. However, accommodation on request shall be arranged on payment basis. No TA/DA would be provided for attending the course.

Applications should be forwarded by the Head of the institute/department. Research scholars need to submit a letter of recommendation from the supervisor.
