Objectives

To equip the scientists with basic and advanced domains of

bioinformatics in agriculture To present hands on approach to Bioinformatics utility softwares

Scope of the workshop

The workshop would focus on conservation of sustainability covering the major themes like Bioinformatics and agricultural research in India, UNIX Command-Line, biological databases, similarity search and sequence alignment, molecular marker discovery and its application in agriculture productivity and management, genome assembly, transcriptome analysis, genome annotation, metagenome analysis, big data and bioinformatics in agriculture and IPR issues in Bioinformatics.

Eligibility Scientists, Faculty and Officials of ICAR, SAUs, Research Scholars and other organisations working in agriculture and allied disciplines
