Training on “Entrepreneurship development programme for small and medium scale meat processing”

Course content: Three day hands-on training program will cover detailed presentation and practical demonstration on meat quality, enhancing and preserving the quality of meat, different types of processed meat products (Nuggets, Sausages, Meat balls, Croquettes, Burger patties, Restructured slices, Enrobed chicken legs and wings, Cured and Smoked meat products, Soup, Pickle etc.), utilization of low value cuts, by-products and tough meats in product preparation, evaluation of their shelf-life, different packaging methods, etc. In addition, necessary information on availability of equipment, their costs, suppliers, ingredients, composition and products formulation will be provided to participants.
Training period: 3 days (28-30 September, 2015)
Training Fee: Rs. 1,000=00 (One thousand) + 14 % Service tax
Accommodation: Limited accommodation at guest house (Charges: Rs. 50/day for dormitory and Rs. 350/day for A/C room)
