The Director, ICAR-National Research Centre on Pomegranate (ICAR), Solapur, Maharashtra proposes to fill up the following temporary and time bound vacant position under the different project on the basis of WALK IN INTERVIEW for the period of six month which may be extendable further depending on availability of fund and satisfactory performance of the candidate. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. All desirous and eligible candidates fulfilling all the requirements are invited to appear before the selection committee for personal interview at ICARNational Research Centre on Pomegranate, Solapur on 26.09.2015 on 10.30 AM. Candidate reporting after 11.30 AM will not be allowed to appear in the interview.

1. Senior Research Fellow (1 Post)
Consolidated fixed pay of Rs.19200/- PM
35 yrs for Men and 40 years for women
M. Sc. in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Agriculture/Botany/ Life Science with specialization in Plant Pathology or equivalent degree in relevant field from recognized university/Institute with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/ Associateship/Training/other engagements.
Relevant research experience sound knowledge in plant biotechnology techniques Statistical analysis, computer application.
Good Communication and writing skills. Spoken and written knowledge of English. Conducting and monitoring of experiments, Data collection, compilation and statistical analysis, preparation of documents on computer.
