Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary position of one Research Associate in the DBT research project‐entitled “Identification of Genes Involved in Regulation of Phosphate Utilization by root under Water‐Deficit Stress in Rice” of “Root Development and Nutrition” under the supervision of Dr. Jitender Giri, Scientist, NIPGR.
Research Associate (one post): Emoluments as per DST/DBT norms, & sanctioned in the project.
Qualification: Candidates having Ph.D. degree in any discipline of Life Sciences with relevant research experience in Plant Molecular Biology, Plant Breeding and Bio-Informatics discipline are eligible to apply.
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be extended/curtailed on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above posts depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms.
