NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited for the following project positions in the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India sponsored research project entitled “Effect of … Novel Antibacterial Agents for Targeting Two Component Signal Transduction in Enterococcus sp.” from qualified candidates. Candidates interested are requested to send their applications to the Principal Investigator on or before 19-11-2015. Suitable candidates will be called for an interview before the selection committee intimating the date and venue.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

·     Applicants should note that the appointments to be made are purely temporary and initially only for a period of one  year but extendable if work is found satisfactory on year to year basis for a period not exceeding three  years or till the completion of the project.

·     Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and selection will be made purely as per the SERB and Central University of Kerala guidelines subject to approval by SERB, Govt. of India.

·     No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview or at the time of joining the post.

·     The applicant should carry all original certificates of the qualifying exam at the time of attending the interview.

·     The selected Junior Research Fellow will be encouraged to register for PhD, if the candidate would fulfill the Central University of Kerala PhD regulations.

Note: Candidates with NET, GATE and or M.Phil. Qualification will be preferred. Similarly, previous research experience will also be considered.
