Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites application from the Indian Citizens for one (01) temporary post of Junior Research Fellow in the CSIR sponsored project entitled “Exploring membrane-associated NAC transcription factors (NAC MTFs) in tomato to apprehend membrane-mediated signaling during pathogenesis” under the guidance of Dr. Pallob Kundu, Division of Plant Biology. The project is tenable upto 30.09.2017.

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences with CSIR-UGC NET-JRF / ICMR-JRF / DBT-JRF or CSIR-UGC NET-LS/GATE qualification.

Desirable Qualification : M.Sc. (with atleast 60% marks) in any branch of plant science with experience in plant tissue culture and plant molecular biology techniques.

Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- p.m. plus admissible HRA (if hostel facility is not provided by the Institute) and Medical Benefit for CSIR-UGC NET-JRF / ICMR-JRF / DBT-JRF and Rs. 12,000/- p.m. plus admissible HRA (if hostel facility is not provided by the Institute) and Medical Benefit for CSIR-UGC NET-LS/GATE qualification
