Applications are invited for the following purely temporary posts in the DBT funded Project titled "JNU-DBT National Training Facility for state of the art Equipment used in Biotechnology Research".
1. Technical Officer I (One) - Rs. 28,600 (consolidated).
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Life Science/Physics/Biotechnology with two years of experience or B.Tech in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Biotechnology with two years of experience or M.Tech in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Biotechnology with one years of experience in running scientific instruments in laboratory.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in (i) Operation of Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) (ii) Sample preparation for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM).
2. Technical Officer III (One) - Rs. 31,200 (consolidated).
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Life Science/Physics/Biotechnology or B.Tech in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Biotechnology with six years of experience or PhD in Chemistry/Life Science/Physics/Biotechnology/ Environmental Science with one year of experience in running scientific instruments in laboratory.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in (i) Operation of Flow Cytometer (FACS) (ii) Operation of Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) instrument.
The selected candidates will be appointed on purely temporary basis, initially for a period of one year or till his/her services is required by the Project Director or till the validity of the project, whichever is earliest.
