Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow with a fellowship of Rs. 12,000/- + 10% HRA (Rs. 14,000 + 10% HRA for candidates having two year research experience) in a DST-SERB Sponsored Project entitled “Molecular characterization of the viruses associated with chirke and foorkey disease of Large Cardamom in North East India” for a period up to 05 June 2016. The post is ad hoc and coterminous with the project.
The candidates should have M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Botany / Microbiology with at least 55% marks and age below 28 years (50% marks and 33 years for SC/ST candidates). Research experience in plant virology, PCR, gene cloning would be desirable.
