Junior Research Fellow Position in a DBT Sponsored Project

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT sponsored project titled ‘Developing a Zebrafish model to characterize SDH-mediated tumourigenesis’ (Project Ref. BT/PR9304/MED/30/1214/2013).

Principle Investigator: Dr S. Kirankumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Genetic Engineering, SRM University, Kattankulathur 603 203, Tamil Nadu.

Fellowship: Rs 12,000 plus HRA per month for the first two years and Rs 16,000 plus HRA per month for the third year as per the DBT norms.

Duration: 3 years till the completion of the project.

Essential qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Life Sciences/Zoology/Biotechnology/ Biology/Genetic Engineering/ Genetics.

Desirable qualification: Basic molecular biology techniques, experience in animal handling.
