Applications are invited for the post of Project fellow in SERB-YS sponsored research
project on “Molecular basis of toxicity analysis of locally used alphamethrin on
cyanobacteria and algae in soil microflora of Meghalaya” at the department of
Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, North eastern Hill University, Shillong-793022 sanctioned to
Dr. Neha Chaurasia, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics,
North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong campus, Shillong-793022 for a period of three years.
Interested candidates should send their application in a plain paper or by email along with all
necessary documents to the undersigned on or before 22th January 2016.
Qualifications: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Botany with at least 60% marks for general category (55
% marks for ST/SC category) or M.Phil in same subject.
Desirable: Specialization in
Bioinformatics and Biostatistics will be preferred.
Fellowship will be given as per DST and university guidelines.
Only Shortlisted candidates will
be called for interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.
