Molecular characterization of developed DNA markers | Bose Institute JRF Vacancy

Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites application from the Indian Citizens for one (01) temporary post of Junior Research Fellow in the SERB (DST) sponsored project entitled “Molecular characterization of developed DNA markers linked to disease resistance/susceptibility in giant black tiger shrimp, Penaeus monodon” under the guidance of Prof. Nripendranath Mandal, Division of Molecular Medicine. 

The project is tenable for three (03) years. 

Details of qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows : 

• Essential Qualification : M.Sc./M.F.Sc./M.Tech. degree in any branch of Life Sciences with valid CSIR-UGC NET-LS / GATE / BET qualification. 

Candidates interested to work in the areas of molecular biology are desirable. 

• Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- p.m. plus admissible HRA for GATE / BET qualification Rs. 12,000/- p.m. plus admissible HRA for CSIR-UGC NET-LS qualification 

NOTE : Revised fellowship for CSIR-UGC NET-LS qualified candidates is under consideration of SERB (DST) 

• Age : Below 28 years as on the day on which the application is made (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates only as per rules)
