Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear before a selection committee on 18th January, 2016 at 1.30 pm in the Department of Biophysics, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics, University of Calcutta, 92, APC Road, Kolkata-9 to work as s project fellow in the project entitled ‘Trace elemental profile variation in relation to Charantin content in fruits of Momordica charantia Lin. using Proton-Induced X-Ray Emission (PIXE)’ funded by UGC DAE Consortium for Scientific Research under the supervision of Professor Sarmistha Raychaudhuri in the above department. Tenure of the project is 3 years.
Qualification required: A good Masters Degree (at least 55%) in any branch of Life Science, knowledge of Plant Tissue Culture and Molecular techniques desirable.
Emoluments as per UGC DAE CSR norms.
Candidates must bring 2 copies of applications furnishing bio-data plain white paper with attested copies of testimonials and also original mark sheets and certificates.
