Reserved for ST Upper age limit: 33 years (including age relaxation of 5 years under ST category)

1st class B Sc in Biology/ Zoology with one year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/ Organization

Candidates having experience in handling the animal tissues particularly from slaughter houses and tannery would be preferred Candidates having higher qualification/ relevant experience would be preferred

To assist Scientists in the following areas

i) Collection of animal tissues from slaughter houses and tanneries
ii) Processing of animal/ tannery bi-products into value added products
iii) Handling the equipment and machinery in Biological Materials Lab/ Pilot Plant
iv) Handling the experimental animal models etc.,

7 Technical Assistant

Upper age limit: 31 years (including age relaxation of 3 years under OBC category)

1st class in B Sc Chemistry/ Bio Chemistry with one year fulltime professional qualification or one year experience in Analytical Chemistry/ Bio Chemistry; Biochemical Techniques associated with protein/ enzyme characterization from recognized Institute/ Organization

Candidates with higher qualification and experience in the areas of job requirement would be preferred

To assist Scientists in the following areas:

i) Bio Chemistry procedures, Molecular biology procedures
ii) Microbiology procedures
iii) Bio processing involving enzyme and fermentation technology including upstream and downstream processing
iv) Troubleshooting & maintenance of analytical instruments
