Applications are invited for the posts of Junior Research Fellows (Two positions) for the following time-bound sponsored projects as per the details given below: PI: Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Professor, Biotechnology Department, JIIT
Essential Qualifications: MSc/ M. Tech. in Life Sciences/Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Biotechnology. Preference will be given to ICMR/CSIR /UGC/ JRF/NET qualified candidates. However, Non- NET qualified candidates can also apply.

Post 1: JRF in ICMR Project
Project Title: Identification of cellular targets of Chikungunya virus non-structural proteins
Job Description: cloning, protein purification, yeast two hybrid, cell culture.
Duration: The post is valid for a period of three years.
Emoluments: For M.Sc. (NET) or M. Tech. Qualified candidate Rs. 25000 + 30% HRA and for only M.Sc. qualified candidate 16000 + 30% HRA per month
Post 2: JRF in DBT Project
Project Title: Purification of Chikungunya Virus nsP3 Protein for Peptide Based Inhibitor and Structural Studies
Job Description: cloning, protein purification, functional genomics applications, peptide libraries.
Duration: The post is valid for a period of six months or till the project ends.
Emoluments: For M.Sc. (NET) or M. Tech. Qualified candidate Rs. 25000 + 30% HRA and for only M.Sc. qualified candidate 15,600/- fixed per month
