A walk-in interview will be held for the appointment of one research project fellow on 5th February, 2016 at 3 PM, in the office of DPO, 87/1 College Street, Kolkata 700 073 regarding the UGC sanctioned Major Research Project entitled “Evaluation of Molecular Marker(s) and Therapy by Multi-targeted Drugs for Parkinson’s Diseases in Paraquat-induced mice model” under the guidance of Dr. Nilkanta Chakrabarti, Department of Physiology, University of Calcutta. Tenure of the project is 3 years.

Required Qualification: First Class M.Sc. in Life Sciences from recognized University, NET/GATE preferable.

Age Limit : As per Government rules in vogue.

Remuneration : As per UGC terms, (a) Candidate with Non-GATE/Non-NET @ Rs. 14,000/- p.m. and (b) Candidate with GATE/NET/GPAT @ Rs. 16,000/- p.m.

The candidate should bring two separate sets of complete application furnishing biodata on plain paper along with attested copies of testimonials on the date of interview. The original certificates and mark sheets are to be presented before the Selection Committee on the day of the interview.
