HANDS ON TRAINING & ACADEMIC PROJECTS:

Cell Biology: Plant tissue culture and Micropropagation. DNA fingerprinting,  RAPD marker studies, Recombinant DNA .

Biomolecules & Microbial Technology : Biomarker studies, Phytochemical studies, Biofertilizer & Biofuel  development and evaluation. Prototype studies on aquaphonics.

Biocomputing and Data analysis : Bioinformatic suits, Clinical Genomics, Sequence studies, Transcriptomics.

Academic real time projects registration closes on November 30th for Winter Intake and on March 30th for Summer Intake. Prior registration is mandatory.

GRANT WRITING & PUBLICATION WRITING:

Assist in finding a proposal concept, evaluating the past work of concept, planning, execution methodology and finalizing the  budget. Facilitate the submission of manuscript for publication in peer reviewed Journals.

SHORT TERM COURSES:

R/Bioconductor for Biologists

This course is designed for biologists (novice and intermediate R users) Course covers preprocessing of data, data analysis, visualization and functional annotation of omics data. By the end of the course, one should be able to use R/ Bioc software efficiently on biological data and make scientifically strong choices.
§Introduction to R/Bioconductor 
§Omics data analysis using R/Bioconductor
§ Analysis of affymetrix microarray data     
§ Functional annotation of NGS data                                            

The course includes a rich collection of lectures by eminent and experienced people from Translational bioinformatics.

Next Generation Sequencing data analysis

This workshop is to introduce NGS data analysis to individuals with interest and basic training in bioinformatics and/or Genomics. Hands-on exercises will be performed on bioinformatics workstations running GNU-linux (Ubuntu). This is not a placement course perse.
