WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
The Walk-in-Interview for the positions of Research Associates/ Senior Research Fellows/Junior Research Fellow/Young Professional-I and Data Entry Operator in below mentioned project/scheme will be conducted at this Institute on the date/time and venue and other details shown against positions on contractual basis, which is co-terminus with the project/scheme. The eligible candidates are invited to appear before the Selection Committee for Walk-in-Interview at NDRI, Karnal.
1. ICAR Research Project “Agri-CRP on Water Budgeting and improving water productivity livestock farming”

Essential Qualification: Master degree in any one disciplines /subject Water Resource Management, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Food Science & technology and Dairy Chemistry with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification.
Desirable: Experience/working knowledge in water analysis, water purification and water reuse techniques, Exposure/working experience in dairy waste water management.

Essential: Ph.D degree in any one of discipline/Subject in Dairy Microbiology/Food Microbiology/ Agricultural Microbiology /General Microbiology/Life Sciences with specialization in microbiology OR M.Sc./M.V.Sc/M.Tech degree in any one of above mentioned disciplines /subject with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/ Training /other engagements.
Desirable:
(i) Preference will be given to candidates have experience in the field of biosensor, analyzing milk & milk products and food samples for microbiological quality parameters preferably familiar with food analysis for drugs, aflatoxins and hygiene indicator and pathogenic organisms etc.
(ii) Good knowledge of statistics/ software optimization, proficiency in computer application particularly in use of MS office.
