National Tea Research Foundation (NTRF) a registered body, requires qualified and experienced agricultural research scientist for contractual appointment as per details below :

3 Duration Initially for 1 year and annually renewable.
4 Eligibility Criteria : a) Academic M.Sc. Agril. / Life Science, Ph. D. (with experience in Bioinformatics). b) Job Experience Work experience in Agricultural Research, with knowledge on bio-informatics, capable to work independently and efficient in computer.
5 Age limit Within 50 years
6 Proposed Emoluments : a) Salary b) Allowances The suitable candidate will be entitled for the salary of Rs.25,000/- p.m. (consolidated). Conveyance allowance Rs.1,000/- p.m.
7 Job Responsibility
Screening of the inhouse project of NTRF at the preliminary level.
Review and evaluation inhouse project of NTRF. Technical monitoring of the inhouse project of NTRF.
Reviewing the final technical report of the inhouse project of NTRF.
Put-up of same proposal for taking approval and sanction of the competent authority. Physical and technical verification of the inhouse project of NTRF.
To assist in organizing seminar / workshop / meetings etc.
To develop database on various aspects of tea research.
The candidate has to discharge any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the Competent Authority, NTRF.
8 Other Entitlements
In the exigency of the NTRF’s work if the candidate is deputed on official tour for outstation, candidate will be entitled for necessary facilities as applicable to the officials of NTRF.
Entitlement of Casual Leave as per norms of NTRF.
