Notification for Ph.D. Entrance Test
DAV University, Jalandhar invites applications for Entrance Test for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Program for the following disciplines for the session 2016, to be held on April 10, 2016:
Faculty of Engineering: Electronics and Communication, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Faculty of Commerce and Business Management: Commerce, Management
Faculty of Languages: English
Faculty of Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Computer Science & Applications
Faculty of Social Sciences: Economics
How to Apply
Download and submit the filled up application form along with self attested copies of mark sheets (Matric onwards), passport size photograph and a demand draft for Rs.1000/- (one thousand) in favour of Registrar, DAV University, payable at Jalandhar. Note: 1. Please refer to the DAVU Rules and Procedures for Ph.D. Program 2016 for detailed guidelines on DAV University Website: www.davuniversity.org
2. Candidates who have already passed NET/SLET/GATE/JRF/M.Phil degree [obtained through regular course work and not through distance education mode] will be exempted from entrance test.
3. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidate for appearing in the Entrance Test.
