Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of ONE Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the Niche Area of Excellence (NAE) Project entitled “Nutrition and Gut Health: Probiotics, Prebiotics and Phytogenics as Functional Foods to Augment Gut Health of Dogs” funded by ICAR, subject to terms and conditions in force in ICAR/IVRI for such engagements. The service of persons so engaged will be co-terminus with termination of the project or earlier without assigning any reasons thereof. Pattanaik, Principal Scientist & P.I., NAE in Clinical Nutrition, Division of Animal Nutrition, ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izatnagar-243 122 (UP), so as to reach by March 15, 2016 before 10:30 AM. Candidates are required to attend the walk-in-interview along with original certificates on March 17, 2016 at 11.00 AM in Division of Animal Nutrition, IVRI, Izatnagar. The candidates will not be paid any TA/DA, and will have to make their own arrangements for stay etc. for attending the interview.

25000 for 1st & 2nd year and `28000 for 3rd year
Masters degree in Animal Nutrition / Animal Science / Animal physiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry with 4 or 5 years Bachelor’s degree.
Candidates having postgraduate degree in the related basic sciences (with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2-years Master degree) should have should have NET qualification.
Experience of analytical works related to animal nutrition; handling and management of pet dogs and laboratory animals, and analytical equipments like ELISA, HPLC and GLC etc.
Good knowledge of computers including research data analysis † Fixed remuneration per month; with additional HRA as admissible
Note: 1. The upper age limit as on the date of interview shall be 35 years. A relaxation of 5 years in case of women candidates applicable. 2. All applications must include a recent passport size photograph of the candidate and photocopies of certificates/testimonials.
