Applications are invited for the following vacancy under a non-institutional ad-hoc project on purely temporary basis, under Dr. A.R. Anand, Scientist- D/DBT-Ramalingaswami Fellow & P.I. of the project.

Title of project: Role of microenvironment in the pathogenesis of HCV and HCV/HIVassociated hepatocellular carcinoma" (funded by DBT)

Consolidated salary Rs. 11,000/- per month

Duration One year

Essential Qualification The candidates should have a Master's degree with atleast 60% aggregate marks in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognised university.

Desirable Qualification Previous research experience in cell culture/virology and molecular biology will be an added advantage. Candidates should possess good communication and writing skills.

Age Limit Not exceeding 28 years

General conditions: 1. Qualification and experience should be from Government recognized organizations. 2. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee for the selection. 3. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates will be as per government rules. 4. The consolidated salary is based on DBT grant funding for the above-mentioned position. ICMR pay scale for the position shall not be tenable. 5. All the original certificates/relevant documents/certificates need to be brought for verification. 6. No travelling allowance will be paid to the candidate for appearing in a personal interview. 7. The post is for extramural sponsored project undertaken by the Principal Investigator and no claim in future for employment under the ICMR/Institute shall be tenable.
