WALK IN INTERVIEW  for the selection of Senior Research Fellow (Two post) and Technical Assistant (Four post) on contractual basis under the following projects will be held on 17.03.2016 & 18.03.2016 at 11.00 AM. 1. Contract research project entitled “Evaluation of paraffinic oil adjuvant for the management of leaf spot diseases of banana”

Technical Assistant

Rs.8000/- (Consolidated) per month

First class in M.Sc. / M.Phil. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Plant Pathology with experience in banana diseases

2. DBT project entitled “National Certification System for Tissue Culture Raised Plants (NCS – TCP)”

Technical Assistant

Rs.12000/- (Consolidated) per month

First class in M.Sc. (Agri.) specialized in Plant Pathology or Agricultural Microbiology or M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology

Experience and expertise in isolation of RNA / DNA / Protein extraction and performing PCR, RT-PCR, ELISA and NASH

3. ICAR Extramural project entitled “Studies on active packaging on extending shelflife of banana”

Senior Research Fellow

Rs.25000/- + 20% HRA per month

First class in M.Sc. (Horticulture / Agriculture) with specialization in Fruits / Post Harvest Technology of Horticultural Crops or relevant field of specialization.

At least 1-2 years working experience in the relevant field of specialization in reputed organization / institute and working knowledge in computer and handling softwares.

Senior Research Fellow

First class in M.Sc. (Horticulture / Fruit Science / Vegetable Science / Floriculture and allied subjects or M.Sc.(Plant Breeding and At least 1 – 2 years of experience relevant field of specialization in reputed organization and knowledge in tissue culture, Biochemical analysis and Genetics) Or M.Sc. (Post Harvest Technology) breeding
