Applications are invited for one post of Project fellow @ Rs. 14000/- p.m. (Non-Gate/Non-NET) or Rs. 16000/- p.m. (Gate/NET) in an UGC Major research Project, entitled "Studies exploring the antiangiogenic and anti-metastatic potential of lycopene during NDEA induced hepatocarcinogenesis in mice". The duration of the project is three years.

Applications on plain paper giving detailed bio-data including email id/contact no. along with attested copies of the testimonials should reach the undersigned by 18th March, 2016, upto 5:00 PM.

The interview will be held in the office of Chairperson, Department of Biophysics, Panjab University, Chandigarh and the date and time of interview will be informed later on.

No TA/DA will be permissible for attending the interview. The rules and regulations as laid down by the Panjab University/UGC, New Delhi will govern the selected candidates.

Qualifications: The candidate must possess M.Sc. in Biophysics/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Allied fields with a minimum of 55% marks for general category (50% in case of SC/ST/PH) and overall good academic record. The candidate to be appointed as Project Fellow should be below the age of 40 years at the time of appointment.

Desirable: The candidate having experience in Animal handling, Biochemical assays and Molecular Biology techniques will be preferred.
