Sálim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History, Coimbatore requires research personnel for the following time-bounded research project:

Title: “A comprehensive study of potential ecological impact of windmill farms on wildlife with special emphasis to avifauna in the selected project areas of Karnataka

Eligibility and experience required

  • Name of the Position: Junior Research Fellows (3 Nos);
  • Age: below 28 years on the stipulated last date for receiving applications; Duration: 18 months;
  • Fellowship: 16,000+HRA (as per SACON rules);
  • Qualification and Experience: M.Sc., in Wildlife/Zoology/Ecology/Life Sciences and skills in ecological research preferably on mammals and birds.
  • Name of the Position: Senior Research Fellow (1 No);
  • Age: below 32 years on the stipulated last date for receiving applications; Duration: 18 months;
  • Fellowship: 18,000+HRA (as per SACON rules);
  • Qualification and Experience: M.Sc., in Wildlife/Zoology/Ecology/Life Sciences and skills in ecological research preferably on birds and mammals.

Age limit relaxation is available for ST/SC/OBC/Women/PH candidates as per the Govt. of India Rules.
