About the Workshop Intellectual Property plays a key role in gaining advantage in terms of technological for achieving higher economic growth in a market driven economy. To promote the awareness on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and to encourage innovation and creative activities across various disciplines, Center for Intellectual Property Rights (CIPR), Anna University, Chennai is organizing a One day Workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights 2016” (IPR 2016) on 26th April 2016 on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day (26th April 2016), for the second year in a row in line with World Intellectual Property organization (WIPO) theme of “Digital Creativity: Culture Reimagined”.

The topics to be covered in the workshop are

Commercialization of patents Speakers: Eminent speakers from IPR agencies, Government Institutions, IPR law experts, Scientists and Educational Institutions
